M Shed offers a variety of event spaces, each reflecting the building’s industrial heritage and harbourside character. The Harbour View Suite and Waterside Suite provide the largest settings, ideal for conferences, dinners and receptions, while Studios 1 and 2 offer a more intimate environment for smaller meetings and breakout sessions.  

Expansive windows, balcony access and a rooftop terrace bring the waterfront into every event, giving each space a distinctive sense of place. 

Each area retains the character of the former 1950s transit shed while featuring modern facilities and practical design, creating a versatile environment suitable to both corporate and private occasions.

Day 2 is slowly wrapping up with our final few talks, and I just wanted to drop a message to say that I have received a lot of amazing feedback on the two venues and to say thanks so much. From me personally, the food has been great, and the space has really lent itself to the vibe of the venues. And while we didn’t descend into a party (like I had hoped), the museum provided a fantastic space and I did overhear someone say “this is way better than last year”, which I’m taking as a big win. 

I just want to extend my thanks from everyone for the wonderful time we had on Tuesday. The event was amazing from start to finish, the venue was beautiful, and the staff were just wonderful. Thank you for your help and patience in getting our event set up, and to the events managers who helped us throughout the day and evening! 

I just wanted to say that we had the most amazing time. The service was great, the food was delicious and the DJ was lush! I have had so many people say what a fun night it was so thanks for everything. We will definitely be recommending the space and I can imagine using it again in the future. 

I would also like to say a huge thank you to you and your team for helping me host this event at such short notice. The venue was superb and we shall definitely have M-shed on our list of Bristol venues if and when we hold future regional meetings there again. 

Everything was explained in detail, you answered all my questions very quickly and you were very understanding when I took over the planning halfway through in the absence of my colleague! The day went smoothly and the space was perfect. The team all enjoyed the food. I will be in touch as soon as we need another meeting room.

We held our away day conference at M Shed and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very start, Evie made the planning process so easy and stress-free, and on the day Charlotte was fantastic at keeping everything running smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, and the communication throughout was clear and reassuring. The venue itself was ideal; many of our colleagues were visiting Bristol for the first time and were really impressed. The room setup worked perfectly, the food was beautifully presented and right on time, and the feedback from our team was all positive. It really felt like everything had been thought of, which helped towards making the day such a success.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you, and the events and catering teams for helping us run our conference yesterday. It went seamlessly and all the MShed staff were fantastic and attentive to our needs. I don't think it could have gone much better really! We're very grateful to all staff involved.
